Space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is a superior switching technique offering several benefits for power electronic inverters. However, concerning multilevel inverters (MLIs), implementing SVPWM demanding and time-consuming task because it deals with the six sectors of space (SVM) plane numerous regions vectors. Several research works in literature tried to simplify implementation MLIs. This paper introduces an strategy, aiming designing process reduce computational burden SVPWM. In this method, designed only first sector SVM plane. The duty cycles states other are assigned by transferring translating techniques. proposed method uses basic algebraic functions order save limited hardware resources processor. same used handle overmodulation (OM) operations. boundary lines concept, which useful tool detect region assign states.
